How to Care for Your WM Dolls

Proper care and maintenance of your WM dolls ensure their longevity and optimal appearance. Follow these instructions to keep your doll in excellent condition:

General Operating and Maintenance Instructions

  1. Material Composition:
    • The exterior layer of WM dolls is made from high-standard elastic property TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) combined with epoxy resins for firm body support and finely crafted skeletons. All materials comply with national health and safety standards, making them harmless to humans and environmentally friendly.
  2. Skeleton and Joints:
    • The skeleton and joints allow the doll to pose in various positions. For durability, avoid leaving the doll in highly stretched positions for long periods. While TPE material is highly elastic, excessive stretching can result in deformation. Reposition the doll to its original position with hands rested downward after use.
  3. Manufacturing Details:
    • During manufacturing, the skeleton is mounted and positioned at precise points. Small fill marks from the injection process are normal and are not considered defects.
  4. Handling:
    • Avoid sharp objects and excessive force when handling the doll. This helps prevent damage to the TPE material.
  5. Clothing:
    • Test any clothing for colorfastness before dressing the doll. If a piece of clothing shows signs of fading, do not put it on the doll as stains can be difficult to remove. WM Dolls is not responsible for staining due to clothing.
  6. Sunlight Exposure:
    • Do not expose the doll to sunlight for extended periods. Prolonged exposure can accelerate the aging of the TPE material.
  7. Creasing and Pressure Marks:
    • If creasing or pressure marks occur, apply a warm towel to the affected area to help alleviate the marks.
  8. Cleaning:
    • Dust and dirt can be cleaned with normal washing detergent, dish soap, or foam bath. Clean gently with your palm and avoid using fingernails or coarse materials that might scratch the surface. After drying, apply the provided powder or cornstarch powder to keep the doll’s skin smooth. Periodic maintenance is recommended.
  9. Repair:
    • If the doll’s surface is scratched, cut, or punctured, use the supplied TPE glue to seal the damage. Clean the area with makeup remover before applying the glue. Ensure the area is not under tension during the repair. Curing time is approximately half an hour.
  10. Support:
  • For any technical or maintenance questions, please contact the vendor for further assistance.

Silicone Dolls Specific Instructions

Silicone dolls require similar care but with a few additional considerations:

  1. Material Composition:
    • Silicone dolls are made from high-quality silicone, which is durable and resistant to heat and UV rays. This material is also safe for human use and environmentally friendly.
  2. Handling:
    • Avoid sharp objects and excessive force when handling silicone dolls. Silicone is durable but can still be damaged by rough handling.
  3. Clothing:
    • Test any clothing for colorfastness before dressing the doll. Stains can be more difficult to remove from silicone compared to TPE. Always ensure clothing is clean and free from dyes that could transfer to the doll.
  4. Sunlight Exposure:
    • While silicone is more resistant to UV damage than TPE, it is still advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent any potential degradation.
  5. Cleaning:
    • Clean silicone dolls with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the silicone. After cleaning, dry the doll thoroughly and apply a light dusting of cornstarch powder to maintain the skin texture.
  6. Repair:
    • Minor repairs to silicone dolls can be done with silicone adhesive. Clean the area thoroughly before applying the adhesive, ensuring no tension is applied to the damaged area during repair. Allow sufficient curing time as per the adhesive’s instructions.
  7. Storage:
    • Store the doll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure the doll is positioned naturally, with limbs relaxed, to avoid any potential deformation.
  8. Support:
    • For any specific questions regarding silicone dolls, contact the vendor for expert advice and assistance.

Maintaining your WM dolls properly will enhance their lifespan and keep them looking their best. Always follow these guidelines and reach out for support if needed.
